TAKILE
AND UROS ISLE

See PUN-002. Announcement of fantasy, enchantment, and
mysticism, a world suspended in time. Its inhabitants,
who speak quechua and are worthy descendants of the
sun empire, keep on preserving their customs and life
style living a community life in harmony with the "pachamama"
or mother land. The community will be fascinated and
proud of sharing with visitors a beautiful experience
accompanied by their landscape, their exceptional handicraft,
dances, music, and traditions.
OPTIONAL: Spend the night in community houses, where
you can enjoy a life experience with the inhabitants
and be able to admire the magnificent lake and landscapes
from the different areas of the isle.
UROS
ISLE - LLACHON - TAKILE - CHUCUITO

1st Day: See PUN-002.
We will start the journey with a visit to the Uros Isle;
then we will proceed toward Llachón that is located
in the final vertex of the Capachica Peninsula. Its
very hospitable population still maintains the millennial
Andean life style, which is shown in their ceremonies
and rites. Arriving at this place, we can observe an
impressive landscape and archaeological ruins. Spend
the night in its native houses, where you can have a
live experience and enjoy from its surroundings and
people.
2nd Day: We visit Takile Isle and then continue our
journey to the Charcas Beach, and we will be able to
observe the ruins of the "Fertility Temple."

AMANTANI
ISLE
Full Day
This is an isle rich in landscapes; its main spots are
the centre of worship and reverence to the "Pachatata"
and to the "Pachamama." Amantan Isle is located
in front of the Capachica Peninsula; its hospitable
inhabitants will be waiting for us in their houses to
share their daily life with us. We will observe that
women keep their traditional apparels, but in February
(from the 15th to 20th) men wear their traditional apparels
to celebrate the fertility feast of the Mother Land.
OPTIONAL: Overnight in community houses, where you can
have a unique life experience and enjoy the isle, its
surroundings, and people.

UROS
ISLE
AMANTANI - TAQUILE

CHUCUITO
JULI POMATA
" Aymara Corridor"

We start the tour visiting Chucuito which was invaded
by the Pukaras, Lupakas and Incas, who left rustic constructions
made of polished stones, such as the Uyo Inca or fertility
temple. The circuit proceeds toward JULI which was occupied
by the Dominicans and then by the Jesuits, who built
beautiful churches of a mixed race style. These churches
are ornamented with impressive sculptures and paintings.
Then, we will visit POMATA, a small city that preserves
features of the past. Its main attraction is the Santiago
Temple characterized by its mixed (mestizo) art, which
may be the most beautiful temple in the country due
to its internal decoration and its architecture completely
built of stone.

SILLUSTANI
3 hours
A Peninsula made out of rocks and surrounded by the
"Umayo Enchanted Lake," pre-Inca archaeological
structure famous for its marvellous Chullpas, where
the Koyas buried people from the nobility and at the
same time for being the fertility sanctuary since it
is located in a magic religious place. Surrounded by
beautiful landscape, this is a unique place and it is
appropriate for meditation, silence, and rest.
OPTIONAL: If you reach
Puno at a prudent time, it is possible to perform this
path tour between the Juliaca Airport and Puno.

PUNO/CUZCO:

BUS: We will leave Puno
and go to the Imperial Capital of Cuzco. En route we
will visit Pukara, Raqchi, Andahualylillas (the Andean
Sistine Chapel of America), and the nearby towns. Cold
lunch included.
TRAIN: We will leave Puno
and proceed to the Imperial city of Cuzco. This service
has two categories: INKA TRAIN, AND BACK PACKER.(Monday,
Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday).

SUN
ISLE (Perú/Bolivia)
Full Day
We leave Puno by bus and drive toward Copacabana (Bolivia);
we will visit the Aymara Corridor en route. Arrival
and sailing through the Sacred Lake to visit the Sun
Isle. Return to Copacabana and then to Puno.

PUNO
/ LA PAZ (Bolivia)
Full Day
BUS: We will leave by the Aymara Corridor and will go
to Copacabana (Bolivia); then, we will proceed with
our journey to La Paz across the "Tiquina Strait."
PRIVATE BUS: Copacabana or Desaguadero
ALISCAFO AND CATAMARAN: We will leave by bus for Copacabana;
then we will board the ferry to visit the legendary
"Sun Isle", where according to the legend,
the founders of the Incas' Empire came out. Return to
Copabana to continue by bus to La Paz.
