TAMBOPATA JUNGLE LODGE
3 days - 2 nights
1st Day: IN MALDONADO
Reception at the airport and transport by jetty, trip through the Tambopata river to the Lodge. Snack on board. Arrival to the lodge, and accommodation. In the afternoon, waking around the surroundings of the lodge. We will watch mammalians, birds and insects such as capuchin monkeys, beautiful butterflies, toucans and other species. Typical dinner. Overnight.
2nd Day: LAGO CONDENADO
Breakfast. short trip sailing. Then we will start trekking across the “Lago Condenado” area, which is very rich in birds and sea live (a family of enormous otters living in the lake and which are seen very often). We will also watch abundant birds in this area. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure: exploiting the forest or, if desired, take a bath in the stream (Gallocunca). In the evening, we will go to look for caimans and other night species.
3rd Day: MALDONADO OUT
After breakfast, sailing back to town. Transport to the airport.

PEM - C- 002
COLLPA DE GUACAMAYOS
4 days - 3 nights

1st Day: IN MALDONADO
Similar services provided the 1st day of the program PEM C-001.

2nd Day:COLLPA DE GUACAMAYOS
After breakfast we will go the “Colpa de guacamayos” by motorized boat. We will sail for 4 hours upstream, and then we will arrive to the deepest area of the reserve where these clayey sewer systems are found, and which will allow us to enjoy a wonderful view of nature. Afternoon at leisure. Night camping at the shores of the river, near Collpa.
3rd Day : COLLPA / RETURN TO THE LODGE
Departure at dawn to visit “La Colpa”. We will see a great variety of MACAWS and parrots searching for this clay, which mineral salts provide them digestive proprieties. This is part of their daily diet. We will walk around the surrounding paths. After lunch we will return to the lodge by boat. Accommodation
4th Day : MALDONADO OUT
After breakfast we will sail to the City of Puerto Maldonado, then we will get to the port.

PEM - D- 001
EXPLORERS INN
3 days - 2 nights

1st Day: IN MALDONADO
Transport to the City and to the port to board on motorized canoes through the “Tambopata” river (about 3 hours). During the trip we will watch caimans, turtles, sea birds, etc. Snack included. Arrival to the Lodge. After a short rest we will walk to a little lake where we will watch the sunset. When the sky turns dark we will watch the caimans in the river. Dinner and accommodation at lodge.
2nd Day: LAGUNA COCO COCHA
Breakfast. 5 hour trek to the Cocococha Lake. Along the way we will watch plants, birds and exotic insects, and if we are lucky we will watch an old mammal. Trip by canoes to watch the rich and varied wild fauna of the site. Lunch and afternoon at leisure for resting or practicing any activity. Accommodation at lodge.
3rd Day: MALDONADO OUT
After breakfast we will go back to Puerto Maldonado. Transport to the airport.

PEM - D- 002
EXPEDITION TO THE JUNGLE
5 days - 4 nights

1st Day: IN MALDONADO
Similar services to those provided the 1st day of the program PEM d-001.
2nd Day: COLLPA GUACAMAYOS
Breakfast. We will continue sailing the Tambopata River for 5 or 6 hours. Along the way we will go through interesting basaltic rock formations, some gold washing sites and beaches where we could take a bath, if desired. Snack. In the afternoon, we will go to the Collpa, 200 m. high rock formation where hundreds of macaws and parrots meet to eat clay, land rich of minerals that provides us a spectacle of sound and colour. We will camp and have dinner in a near beach.
3rd Day: RETURN TO THE LODGE
Early in the morning, we will repeat the Collpa tour, then we will return to the Lodge. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure for resting or trekking.
4th Day: COCOCOCHA LAKE

5th Day: MALDONADO OUT
After breakfast, transport to the city of Puerto Maldonado, and to the airport.
