BASE PROGRAM III
COLLAGUA WORLD

1st Day: Reception, transfer to the hotel.
2nd Day: PAMPA CAÑAHUAS / CALLALI / SIBAYO / CHIVAY.
Departure from Arequipa by the Misti and Chachani volcanoes route. Visit to National Reserve of Vicuñas in the zone of Pampa Cañahuas, continue the trip toward the Colca Valley to go to Pulpera by the east, The Window of the Colca (beautiful natural resource). We will appreciate the outcrops of Callalli, visiting the town with the same name and their colonial church. Then will go to the districts of Sibayo, Tuti and Canacota, before arriving to Chivay and accommodation to the Posada Hotel of Chivay. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the handcraft stores, where you can see the typical garments of the zone. We will finish the day in La Calera thermo medicinal baths. Return to Chivay. Lodging.

3rd Day: CHIVAY / COPORAQUE / UYO-UYO / ICHUPAMPA / COLCA LODGE
Breakfast. Departure by the right side of Valley of Colca, we will appreciate the colonial districts of Coporaque e Ichupampa, (in the first district it is located the first catholic church of the whole valley) also we will visit Uyo Uyo ruins, the Ocolle bay window and the amphitheatre with great views of the pre-incas platforms. In the route we appreciate the famous “Colcas” (old food warehouses located at places of difficult access). Arrive to the Colca Hotel. Lodging. Lunch and in the afternoon we will enjoy the beautiful thermal water, horse ride, fishing, photography, etc).

4th day: COLCA LODGE / YANQUE / ACHOMA / MACA / PINCHOLLO / CRUZ DEL CONDOR/ CABANOCONDE / CHIVAY / AREQUIPA
Breakfast. Departure by the left side of the valley, visiting typical towns, such as Achoma and Maca, arriving to Cruz del Condor, where it is possible to see the arrogant flight of the condors. During the journey we will visit archaeological rests (hanging tombs) and natural attractive, like the models in stone, mysterious lakes, the best pre-inca platforms and herds of auquenidos in a beautiful landscape. Before arriving to the colonial town of Cabanaconde, we will stop at Tapay bay window where you can also obtain a beautiful view of the Canyon. Return to Chivay and then to Arequipa arriving at the end of the afternoon. Lodging.

5th Day: Transfer hotel/airport/station

SALINAS LAKE
(Salinas Natural Reserve -Aguada Blanca)
Full Day

On the way to Puno passing between the volcanoes Misti and Pichu-Pichu and after a journey of 120 Kms we arrive to Salinas Lake.
In this place the fauna is abundant, especially the birds, flamencos or Parihuanas. Also it is interesting the auquenidos, especially the”llamas” and “alpacas”.

DEATHBULL PETROGLYPHS
Full Day

On the route that links Arequipa with Lima, we will enjoy the agricultural landscape, La Joya irrigations, Vitor Valley, before to, Deathbull with their petroglyphs, rests of ancient Peruvians that were represented on the rocks, their daily religious and military activities. Return to Arequipa.
