CANOE ROWING (RAFTING) IN THE
URUBAMBA RIVER Ollantaytambo / Huayraqpunku
After a 1.5-hour trip, we will reach Ollantaytambo,
where we will start our adventure, but first we will
be given instructions and the appropriate equipment.
This area has rapids that reach Class III. Any experience
is required. We will enjoy two hours of excitement and
amazing landscape. We will finish our journey in the
Huayracqpunku area, and we will taste a delicious Picnic.
Return to Cuzco.

RAFTING IN THE
APURIMAC RIVER SPECIALIZED
3 days - 2 nights
1st Day: We will go to
the Huallpachaca Bridge (2.000 m), where we will start
our adventure. We will get into the river after having
lunch and prepared the corresponding equipment. We will
spend approximately two hours in the water running rapids
II, III and IV. Camping.
2nd Day: After breakfast,
we will go back to the river, where we will spend almost
all day descending rapids, Class III and IV. We will
go through two portajes (rapids Class VI,
where we will have to walk). Camping.
3rd Day: On this day our journey by the Apurimac River
will last approximately 05 hours. We will pass rapids
Class III, IV and V. In the afternoon return to Cusco.

MOUNTAIN BIKE
Full Day
One-day tour. We will start at
Chequereq going towards Maras. Visit to the Moray
archaeological site. Then we will go towards the Maras
saltworks. From then, the road descends. As we go down,
we will enjoy a wonderful sight of the Incas Sacred
Valley. Our journey will end at Urubamba, where we will
have lunch. After a good rest, we will return to Cusco.
Bicycle, helmet, necessary mechanical equipment, guide,
and lunch are included.

CHOQUEQUIRAO
5 days - 4 nights
This quechua name means Golden Cradle. This
is the name of the mysterious and dazzling Inca city
that is nailed in the beautiful landscape of the Vilcanota
Mountain Range, over the canyon of the Apurimac River.
This city remained covered by the thickness of the woods
for many years. According to the historians, Choquequirao
was the home of the last rebel Incas from the Vilcabamba.
1st Day: We will leave
by bus toward the Cachora Town (2.910 m.), we will cross
the copious Apurimac River over the Cunyac Bridge. Visit
to the Saywite archaeological site. Camping near the
small town of Cachora having the Salkantay as background.
Camping.
2nd Day: We will walk
towards the canyon of the Apurimac River. Then we will
descend and we will camp on its shores. This is one
of the deepest and most beautiful canyons of the world.
Camping.
3rd Day: We will cross
the hanging bridge over the Apurimac River, and we will
start climbing towards the Santa Rosa area (2.290 m).
There is plenty of vegetation and the weather turns
to be hot. Arriving at the Marampata section, we will
be able to see the Choquequirao fortress, nailed in
the mountains. Camping at Raqyapata.
4th Day: After a short
walk, we will arrive at the Choquequirao fortress (3.110
m). Visit to the archaeological site and its surroundings.
In the afternoon return to Santa Rosa.
5th Day: We will descend
towards the hanging bridge. Then we will continue arriving
at the Cachora small town. We will return to Cusco in
a private vehicle.
